Trial version 2.7.
  View type:
Hello, iґm using courselab 2.4 since a few years and i have to say, thats a very powerfull tool. So i was very happy, to see that there is a newer version.
But after i have downloaded and installed it, im not able to choose "trial version" - Its not avaiable :( What im doing wrong?

I downloaded version 2.7 to use the trial as well and I had the same problem. The trail version was "greyed" out and I could not select it. I closed the application and started to read help forums... as I just went back to open it to write exactly what I saw, the "time limited version" is now available. I can't tell you what was different except for closing and reopening!

Hello, I'm equally happy with CourseLab and unfortunately I'm facing the same problem when trying to run 2.7 in demo mode. Any help for non-technicians available?
I would like to buy a license but not without testing 2.7 for some days before doing so.
Thanks in advance for any kind of support.

Could you please be more specific about the problems you have had trying to run 2.7 in demo mode?

Hi,
I had the same problem. I have used free 2.4 since about one month and downloaded trial version of 2.7. When opening, the option 'trial' was greyed. However, the second time I opened it, this option was active. Probably a small bug.

Please note that trial version license does not work on Virtual Machines and Remote Desktops. Also note that you can always check the status of your license and accessible features using Sentinel HASP driver's Web-interface - http://localhost:1947

I was under the impression that if you couldn't supply a licence then it would default to the time limited trial version.
I'd try uninstalling to start with, it might be worth just checking for retained settings in the registry as well, then reinstalling it.
2.7 has a lot of very nice features and does support non-IE browsers much better.
