After selecting 'Publish Course' under File, a choice of Publish to the web is not there. I want to place my created course on my website. I don't care about LMS standards. What should I do?

Just publish to cd.

It is worth linking to the file autorun.html or replicating the part of the code that opens the course web page itself. Otherwise the web browser opens it in whatever size it was at last... The random window size spoils the aesthetics of the pages a bit!
It's also worth a line or two if text reassuring users and informing them that they do need to allow scripts to run on the page and allow pop ups. These are often disabled by default in explorer.
