Published the course to run from cd and it works perfectly on IE but on firefox there are so many errors, how do I solve this?

the difference is mostly in security settings for local active content, which are different in these browsers (ans also, Flash Player's security settings may apply). Moreover, AFAIK in FF you cannot even change these settings. So IE is the best choice for local launch.

You can get into firefox and change a huge number of its basic settings.
There should be enough info to get you going here.
