Automaticly Passing to Next Slide
  View type:
hi,

i insert an auestion on a slide.

how can i automaticly go to next slide when the question answered(answer may be true or false).

Attach an "On Success" and/or "On Failure" action to the question. You can then set it up to go to the next slide (or any other slide you want) when the user answers the question then clicks on the "submit answer" button.

Hi Lou,

I have a scenario: The answer is wrong and I want as the student to see the correct answer. Do you have any ideea what do I have to do to see the correct answer even it is going automaticaly to the next slide?[]

Br, diana

Hi Diana
Most of the question devices have a tab in feeback called properties, these allow you to pop up a message when the question is answered. You can have different ones for right and wrong to give guidance or more info in either scenario. If you are going to the next slide automatically then delay the move for long enough for you feedback item to be read or set up a move on closing it.

Spot the stupid error [] LOL... In the properties they have a tab called feedback

Hi Nickj,

yes I know that, but if you pass automatically to the next slide, then you cannot see anymore if the answer was right or wrong!!! I want to know how can I see if the answer was right or wrong even the slides are passing automatically. [:)][].thank you for your promp answer.

The feedback 'belongs' to the question and so is a part of the slide so it will disapear once the slide changes.
If you are making this a timed question why not have the time component built into the question itself. Then they do get the feedback.
Work arounds that I can think of would be:
# Use the question variables to trigger a delayed timed move to the next page giving enough time to read the response.
# Use the question variables to display a response on the next page. In this case question 1 has an extra variable called Q1. The user answers and passes to the next page. On this page an action script onload uses the value in Q1 to open a text block that gives either positive reinforcement to the correct response or feedback on an incorrect response.
The second gives you the most flexibility.

For all of these kind of problems draw yourself a little flow chart mapped against a timebase. Lok at what you want to do and plan it then you will see how to best implement your ideas and where the problems are.

Hi,

how can I attach action to the question? I ve never made that and I have no idee.
