I'm developing a language course for children. Wuthin this course I want them to see a word for 5 seconds. After the word has disapaered a want them to write the word. Problem is I can't make the word disapear after 5 seconds. I use the function display. Who knows what I'm doing wrong.

You can use Display property of object, that displays the word: set it to specified time (i.e. 5 sec) and set delay before displaying if needed. The same parameters can be also set in more visual way using timeline of the frame (menu View - Timeline). This is the simplest way.
