When I created a module, I brought the sound files from another location on my hard drive. i.e. SOUND:c:/clmedspeak/medspeak/(file). This means that the files won't run from the lms. I copied the files to my courselab module. Do I have to go through each sound call in the module to readdress the file, or can I edit it via xml?

Yes Sam you can change it in the xml if you want to but remember a few things...
Before publishing the links to items are absolute, post publishing they are relative to the root of the module.
Manually editing by-passes the internal manifest so the audio files aren't moved when you publish.
