SCORM 1.2 in Bb - Pop-up error message
  View type:
Hi All,

I really need help with modules exported in SCORM 1.2. I exported a course for SCORM 1.2 and loaded it into Blackboard on Internet Explorer.

1. When the course loads, a popup message says 'Object error'. When I click OK, the module loaded the start page.

2.When I click 'Start' from the start page a pop-up error says -> ScormApi12.LMSGetValue:"cmi.core.entry" Not initialized.

3. When it loads the next slide this pop-up message appeared -> ScormApi12.SetValue:"cmi.core.lesson_location" "Slide 1" Not initialized.

Basically when I clicked OK from the pop-up message, the modules proceeded.

Why did all these pop-up error message appear. How can I get rid of them.

Any help please. Thank you.

1.Object error can be all sorts of things and that's really hard to comment on.
2 & 3 Look like they are linked... Both of these values are set and stored in the LMS and the module reads them. Core.entry flags if the user has opened the module before and lesson_location says where they got to. Notice the LMS supplies these, Couselabs API is complaining because the LMS hasn't provided these. Are you noticing a common theme here??
Go to the Blackboard forum for help on this

Thanks Nick. I shall ask Bb folks on that.
