LMS cornerstone issues
  View type:
iґve made a test for cornerstone lms scorm 1.2 with 100 single choice questions and i have some issues:
1-doesnґt work well in ff and chrome.
2-i canґt make the test again. i allow recurring approches for all the test, but when the test is done, it doesnґt allow me to make it again. the objective is when the score is less than 75% itґs possible to make it again, if itґs greater than 75% the test will be terminated and the score is send to lms.
3-the state of the test in the LMS, is always in pogress when it should be terminated and doesnґt appear the conclusion date.
itґs the first time i use this lms and any help will be appreciated. tanks

Hi, First of all you will run into problems with this and it's because you are using SCORM 1.2.
Apart from 1.2 being very old there is a file size limit on the data that the module can pass. Usually you notice this in the cmi_suspend_data passed. It can generate errors or if the LMS is surpressing the errors give you the problem you've listed as #3.
The FF & Chrome problems are due to the html engines, you'll find another raft of problems with safari et all. Webkit and Mozilla are not the same as the M$ engine. It's just the way it is I'm afraid.
If it's being served off of the LMS the recurring approach problem is probably related to the 1.2 file size again. It can give you all sorts of bizarre errors.
Personally I'd have to wonder why a commercial company is selling a product at premium prices per seat that is using a virtually depracated 10 year old standard. There are very few of the OSS LMS platforms that don't support 2004, and most have for some time now. It's OK to support it for legacy modules but there isn't a good reason not to have 2004 and it's manifest improvments available. Ask cornerstone for a timeline for support to the much improved 2004 standard.
