Hotspot isn't responding

Hi there, i'm currently using the free version to get a feel for courselab (liking it so far).

I have on a slide an image (diagram with labels) that I have inserted.

Elsewhere on the page I have written some text which im trying to get to show when I click on one of the labels of the diagram.

So for the text I have selected actions - beforedisplay - selected the action DISPLAY and then the object and set it to hide.

I then created a hotspot on one of the digrams labels and again went to actions - onclick - DISPLAY - selected the object -and clicked show.

However when I view the module, if I hover the mouse over the hotspot the mouse changes to show it is clickable but when I click it, it doesn't do anything, it doesnt show the text i've selected it to show?

I don't understad what I'm doing wrong, any help would be appreciated.

You are really close.

Your object to be revealed should be hidden at page level, tht is right click the page icon and select actions from the drop down.
Use an AFTERDISPLAY and DISPLAY action to hide the object.
At the object you want to click to display right click and again select actions. You'll want an ONCLICK display action to show the hidden object.

One problem might be that the hidden object then stays visible until the page is closed. You might want to consider adding a timer to rehide the object after a suitable period.
